This small red boathouse stands alone on a tiny rocky islet near Seilø on Papper in the Hvaler archipelago. It should not be confused with the other well-known red boathouse on a small islet nearby at Papperhavn.

The afternoon had been completely overcast, but toward the evening the clouds began to break near the horizon. Hoping for a little color in the sky, I decided to drive out and try my luck.

Within minutes the sky turned dramatic, with heavy storm clouds glowing in the low evening sun. Moments like this are impossible to predict — a reminder that sometimes the best photographs come simply from being there when the light suddenly appears.
