I travelled to Rondane hoping to photograph the Milky Way, but the night had a completely different adventure in store.

Above the mountains, the northern lights suddenly unfolded in brilliant shades of green and pink, transforming the quiet autumn landscape beneath the stars.

Harald Sohlberg found the inspiration for his famous painting *Winter Night in Rondane* at this location.
As a small tribute to his work, I named this photograph "An Autumn Night in Rondane".
