The journey from Fredrikstad to Dørålen was a gamble, with clouds and rain forecast for the entire drive to Rondane.
When I arrived that evening, the heavy cloud cover suddenly began to break. For a few brief moments, warm light spread across the sky and was reflected in the quiet water.
